Danang - A New Diving Destination in Asia

Scuba diving enthusiasts can now enjoy some of the best diving in Vietnam during Danang's diving season from February-October.

The Coast surrounding the Furama Resort offers a new and exciting destination for divers in Asia. With its crystal clear waters, coral formations and white sandy beaches this region of Vietnam has just been discovered by dive enthusiasts from around the world...

Danang's Furama Resort is a recognized PADI resort, with Diana Diving Base operated by highly qualified German instructor Gerald Strauss. Its dive-boat for up to 20 explores premier diving spots along the shores of Son Tra Peninsula (Monkey Mountain) where crystal blue waters reveal magnificent corals and an amazing variety of sub-tropical sea-life. "It's like diving in beautiful arranged aquarium," says Strauss.

The sole operator of dive activities in this area is located at the Furama Resort, run by Dive Instructor Gerald Strauss. Strauss is a certified professional with more than thirty years of experience and runs a World Class Diving Center with State of the Art Equipment.

For non-diving days, just a short drive from Danang lay four UNESCO-listed World Heritage Sites: the former imperial city of Hue (2 hours), the ancient 'Silk Road' trading port of Hoi An (30 minutes away), the spiritual center of the Champa civilization, My Son (90 minutes) and the mystical Phong Nha Caves in Quang Binh province (3 hours), considered by some an access to the inner earth!
