MAR-VEL International awarded contract to supply SEAL diving equipment

MAR-VEL International of Pennsauken, NJ offers a complete selection of diving equipment for all needs...the military, commercial operator, salvage and scuba diver, marine scientist and recreational diver and has for over fifty years.

The company that specializes in "Equipment for Extreme Environments" was just awarded the new Special Operational Equipment Tailored Vendor Relationship ("Prime Vendor") Contract.

It is a two-year contract with five one-year options. MAR-VEL has evolved from a small, struggling equipment supplier for local divers to a growing firm with 30 employees and a new defense contract that is worth about $130 million over the next two years...

MAR-VEL International began as MAR-VEL Underwater Equipment Inc. Since 1946 they have been supplying the military, commercial, rescue, scientific and recreational diving communities with the finest diving equipment to be found anywhere. By virtue of this recent contract, MAR-VEL International will provide Special Operations Equipment to all branches of the Military, Federal Government agencies and Authorized State and Local organizations.

The products covered in this contract include lifesaving, diving equipment, tactical equipment, flight deck safety equipment, deck crew safety, personal protection, safety equipment, search and rescue equipment, thermal protection gear and hyperbaric/decompression equipment.
